Chrandels Fashion new collections inspired  London. Belgium designerslabel Chrandels Fashion brought an injection of exuberance and colour to the Bridal Fashion show this week with their new 2008 collection. There was something inspiringly confident about Chrandels bridal designs for the British markets. The new collection can be somewhat bewildering to audiences more used to artistic references, however, Chrandels Fashion 2008 collection was as relevant and accessible as the best of this week's shows. First up, and following a slowly rising status over the previous couple of seasons, the colored bridal gowns taking centre stage with its hem line higher and volume greater than ever. Nowhere was this more evident than with Chrandels new collection. From rosé and champagne pink through to merlot and burgundy, the clothes were all bathed in rich shades. Everything in this collection was precisely styled and cut with unfussy clean lines. Inspired by the 'high society girl' silk, lace and pearls kept things classy, although it was the overal look of the dresses which had real character. Bringing everything together were the models, with their sparkly tiaras and, delightfully, beaming smiles. The resulting collection was full of strong pieces. Setting a contrast to the voluminous dresses, silhouettes teamed matching tops and skirts, which were beautifully cut. Bridal dresses in  colour with clean lines featured tuck folds to create subtle volume, and bright dresses. Silhouette and texture the cornerstones of this collection and while those sleek bridaldresses provided the silhouette it was the taffeta which provided the texture, contrasting perfectly against a foundation of silk. In the main, the collection was shaded colorfull however, the show closed in a divine explosion of jade green.
